Description: The County proposes to purchase 16 rugged tablets for the Sheriff's Office.  The primary use of the equipment in the field is to provide Deputies with information to serve arrest, bench, and civil warrants.  The rugged laptops provide live information regarding the subject being served.  This technology is the most efficient means to process the tasks required to ensure the safety of the public.

Building on this technology will result in a true interoperable communications system that will benefit both counties and their municipalities along with neighboring county, state and federal emergency service providers.

Description: The company proposes to demolish the existing station and construct a new 3 bay station, where the old station is. The new station will have a decontamination area with gear washing and a decontamination shower. The station will have two bunk rooms with bathrooms attached. Proper drainage will be installed prior to the new construction and the building envelope will be constructed to modern standards including moisture resistance and responsible energy consumption. The exterior walls of the social club building will be insulated and refinished with an acrylic exterior finish to improve the aesthetic, weather resistance and energy use.
