Congressman Mackenzie Highlights First-Year Results for the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos
Bethlehem Township, PA — Today, Congressman Ryan Mackenzie (PA-07), representing the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos, highlighted the work he and his district team have accomplished during his first year in office — emphasizing constituent services, local results, and responsiveness to the community.
Since taking office, Congressman Mackenzie has built a robust district operation focused on helping residents navigate federal agencies and delivering real results for communities across the region. During his first year, the Congressman’s office resolved more than 5,500 constituent cases and helped return over $10.3 million to families throughout the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. In Washington, Congressman Mackenzie has introduced ten bills and cosponsored 127 pieces of legislation, advancing a bipartisan agenda focused on practical solutions.
The Congressman also highlighted efforts to strengthen local communities, including securing over $1.6 million in Community Project Funding, supporting the construction of a new firehouse in Alburtis and accessibility improvements in Portland. In addition, the office responded to more than 120,000 constituent calls, emails, and letters; participated in over 800 community events, meetings, and town halls; and opened four district offices to better serve residents.
“From day one, my priority has been to ensure that the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos have convenient access to high-quality constituent services,” said Congressman Mackenzie. “Whether it’s helping families get answers from a federal agency or securing funding for local priorities, my team and I are focused on delivering real results for the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. If you or someone you know has questions or challenges relating to a federal agency, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office.”
Constituents who have received assistance from the Congressman’s office attended the event to share how casework support helped resolve issues involving federal agencies.
