Congressman Mackenzie to hold Telephone Town Hall

March 19, 2025

Event will occur on Thursday (3/20) at 6:05 PM

ALLENTOWN, PA — Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, representing the Greater Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, has announced a district-wide telephone town hall.

During his 12 years as a Pennsylvania state representative, Congressman Mackenzie regularly used telephone town halls to reach the largest possible number of constituents in a way convenient for everyone. This telephone town hall follows recent in-person Q&A events that Congressman Mackenzie attended with local groups in the community.

“Hearing from everyone in our community is such an important part of my job. It helps inform and shape my decision-making as your representative,” said Congressman Mackenzie. “During my time as a Pennsylvania state representative, we used telephone town halls to reach a wide audience of people coming from all walks of life. Today, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be continuing that tradition as your U.S. Congressman.”

Since taking office about 10 weeks ago, Congressman Mackenzie has worked hard to make himself and his office as accessible and helpful as possible — opening four district offices in record speed, ensuring that constituents have access to bilingual assistance, attending a wide array of public events, and holding numerous meetings with residents and organizations. To date, Congressman Mackenzie’s office has corresponded with over 15,000 individual constituents and provided critical casework assistance to hundreds of local residents.

“As U.S. Congressman for Pennsylvania’s 7th District, several in-person Q&As served as great opportunities to hear from people in their local community settings,” said Congressman Mackenzie. “This town hall will continue those conversations in a convenient way where everyone can join in the conversation from the comfort of their own homes. I’m looking forward to discussing the work we are doing in Congress - including positive legislation already signed into law - and answering questions.”
